Diese Methode basiert auf dem direkten Nachweis von SARS-CoV-2-Virusproteinen in Nasenabstrichen und anderen Atemwegssekreten mit Hilfe eines Lateral-Flow-Immunoassays (auch RDT genannt), der Ergebnisse in < 30 Minuten liefert. Obwohl diese Antigennachweis-FTDs (Ag-RDTs) wesentlich weniger empfindlich als NAAT sind, bieten sie das Potenzial f\u00fcr eine schnelle, kosteng\u00fcnstige und fr\u00fchzeitige Erkennung der infekti\u00f6sesten F\u00e4lle von COVID-19 in geeigneten Umgebungen.
